Air Temperature: 16C
Sea Temperature: nice
Weather: Drizzle / Sun / Overcast

Distance Covered:

Was intending to arrive for around half 5 but a crash on the M6 meant I was delayed for 45 mins. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Then thought it would be a waste of time as there didn't seem to be much wind inland. Arrived and it was blowing a nice steady 20knots, the rain then cleared with the Sun showing briefly.

Took the 9m Trix out and did the long walk to the shoreline on the outgoing tide. There were 3 others on the water with a further 3 (all stoked with their sessions) coming off the water.

Only in the water for an hour and a half but it was a perfect sesh. The wind was a perfect onshore which meant for long runs down to Lytham and up towards South Shore playing in the surf. Getting out the back wasn't a problem either as there was pleanty of wind. The wind picked up throughout the sesh and turned a little gusiter as well which made it a little hairier with the jumps.

In all a cracking after work sesh!Woulda been 5 stars but the sesh was shortlived with bad light intervening. My harness was also playing up so time for a new 1 I think. Bring on these Autumn winds!
